In the morning we were pleasantly surprised to find out that we would be speaking at a University in Arua: we spoke to the college age students and worshipped with them. Julia gave her testimony in such a clear and moving way. I was very touched by it, and more importantly, the Lord gave her just the right words to say that I believe it translated very well to the students.
I was able to meet two very special girls who are at the University. Harriet and Lillian both asked if I could meet them so I found a moment to walk to their apartment. They seem like such sweethearts and they wished that I would sit down and eat lunch with them; however I knew that I shouldn’t stay long. Hopefully I will be able to go again and see them soon.
(David's Boys and Girls & the Team)
It was the team’s last day with David’s boys (and neighborhood). It was very bittersweet. We played some of their favorite games (“Mbata, mbata, goose” & “Red light, Green Light) and we also gave out balloons. We gave out many many hugs and definitely was the hardest day to leave. We tried to stay as long as possible-but after the sun goes down, it's too dark for much. Sweet sweet times. *Pray that I will be able to come back to this area at some point in the next few weeks. I really hope to continue here. We will see where the Lord leads.
(Mbata, Mbata, GOOSE!)
Thursday was the beginnings of “goodbyes” that continued all the way to Sunday. The team was missing our friend Jon because he had flown back to Kampala (along with Jo, Elsie Jane, and Lucy). As Timbo said, “Goodbyes are yuck!”….so very true Tim..there isn’t a need for a better way to explain it.

**Jon, our team was so thankful for YOU and we really enjoyed the videos you left on the flip.
The musical intro was brilliant.
