Coming Near the End

Making a meal with Harriet & Lillian:
Getting ready to make some Cheppat
Mixing the dough
Enyasa
What blessings these two were to me on my short stay in Arua.

Wednesday Tea and Thursday with the Boys

Please be praying for Heather and her husband David. They've been working in various places in Africa for over 20 years. Her life story is so fascinating and I was so thankful that she took time on her "holiday" to come over and share it with me over Tea. It was also great to discuss different aspects of Ugandan life and culture that I had been struggling to understand.
Timbo was "helping" Miss Regina with laundry and somehow ended up going for a swim instead.
"I'm all wet, Momma! Wet as a duck!"

I'm sure going to miss these boys: Kennedy, Dixon, Musema-Jamal, Godfrey, Dennis, Morris, Musema-Henry, Sandra
Krista, Katie, Justine, and Fate

The Field

Poor little Benja has been sick with Malaria the past few days.

Pictures from Last Week

I've been a bit neglectful this week with the blog--If the saying "A picture says a 1,000 words" holds true, this post should tell you a lot. Enjoy looking at a couple snapshots from the past week and seeing some beautiful people. Hopefully I will be able to process and journal more of what's been going on this week.

Snaps Around Arua Town:
Typical view Downtown Arua

Jane's sister (and family) sells beans at the market.

Snaps Around the Rambo Home:
Timbo and I made bracelets out of pipe cleaners and beads.

Benja loves his Auntie Jane.
Snaps Around the Neighborhoods:
Eunice and Jane
Sweet Stella and Florence
We made bracelets the first time I visited their home.

These boys (from S & F neighborhood) are hilariously wonderful.

Somehow bubbles cross all communication and cultural barriers.
